I't quite a feat of engineering in itself. Imagine building the whole thing and realising one of the gaps was just a bit too far.

Definitely. The playground at his school would be ideal for it, and is a 10 min walk away. The CCTV hopefully won't record any disasters though.

I skateboarded down Llanberis pass with Leo some time in the late 90s. I had a fairly new set up with decent bearings whilst Leos board was old with really knackered bearings (it was given to Leo by either Johnny or Jerry, Johnny prob more likely but I can't remember) In a move which was pretty comparable to our climbing styles we swapped skateboards so Leo could go faster and I would go slower. I think Mark Reeves drove down behind us. Pretty sure I used my feet to brake a bit, no idea about Leo - he disappeared off into the distance. Racing lines def needed to make it around some of the bends.

Spent the afternoon in a friend's backyard, complete with proper kidney shaped, curved wall pool. A lot of fun on a hot day - taught myself to do a backyard dive - but oh, how a little bit of me just wanted to drain it and try and skate it.
