March 03, 2009, 06:28:44 pm
Checked 'that cave' out yesterday, looks pretty funky actually...nice and grotty :)

Was just wondering what grade/name the line across the front face type of thing is?, it looks asif it start inside the cave and comes out onto the outside of the cave facing the road.

Can anybody tell me how far you have to go on Hannibal, for the tick? I think I read that, that polish dave went right to the top to the trees, but does this make a significant difference on the grade?

just wondering,

you've got to match the tree. I've heard some people don't match the tree. No tick.

I heard Dave was so worried about what people would think that he actually went right to the top of the tree as well.

How did he get down, does reversing the tree add any extra grades?

This was another issue of concern to poor dave. He wanted to make sure everyone could see he had really topped out, so after he mantled onto the crown of the tree, he did a little victory jig so it would be completely obvious he was in complete and total control. Sadly, his spotter - rman, was enthralled by Brian Blessed reading poetry in the back of the cave and missed the whole episode.

Maybe next time eh Dave?

I heard it was R-Man reading his poetry to Brian Blessed.

I heard a travelling bard of Spanish origin was rumoured to have stopped by and serenaded Dave up said problem as witness to the event... but was nowhere to be found after Dave managed to escape from the tree  :-\

Ah yes, the Brian Blessed day. I don't remember much about it*, so please keep the details coming...

I do remember being surprised that Brian Blessed doesn't wear his beard when he's not on tele.

*For reasons I don't remember.
