Don't think much is happening - original info quoted from descent world forums:

going back to a post made in Dec 2007, these were the original time plans

Timing

Study to be completed by Late February
Additional detailed work, design, impact studies, environmental assessments, final business case and submit for planning summer 2008
Planning permission granted 2009
Operator identified and engaged 2009
chairlift developed and bike park open 2010
trail development phased over 4 year period 2010 - 2013
Bike park fully operational 2013,

but it's anyone's guess how far they've actually got so far.  I've checked the Planning website and can't find any application so don't know if it's actually been submitted yet.

The last few pages show where they are proposing putting the chairlift and visitor centre etc.

Spoke to a couple of people in the knwo over the weekend, and the project looks dead in the water.
