I have to say the genuflection of their learned (but not Noble) Lordships has left me saddened and embarassed to be a member of the Bar; for fucks sake lads remember your oath and stand up, published an be dammed.

Torture is anethema and if you do anything other than everyhting in yuour power to combat this vile and pernicious disease then you're part of the problem.  Our involvement in torture is a national disgrace and we need something or somebody to purge to poison,

In a statement, the White House said it "thanked the UK government for its continued commitment to protect sensitive national security information".

I love this statement, to me it translates as, hey lets do some really nasty shit to people, and don't tell those tax paying fuckers a thing!. We need more transparency.
