Check out this beeeeeeeeeauty

I was at the ISPO Sports/Sportswear show yesterday, and amongst all the polyester I did see this rather fresh bike.
Check it.

Chappie says you can jump on the "tubing" and it is untouched, so tough is it.

i love the look of the sram stuff.

i think if i bought a brand new bike i would be tempted.

can we have a vote on the tastiest wheels, both past and present?

i have an old pair of rolf wheels kicking around.  they do look awesome. along the same lines as these -

i also have a thing for the original shamal, but i think they're quite fragile.

i've always liked zipp, but i prefer the all carbon ones to the clinchers with the metal braking surface.

if i were going to get some new ones i'm not sure what i'd chose.  maybe fulcrum zeros?

This was the schizzle when I was a lad, crushing Delamere forest on my Kona Fire Mountain

that is awesome...

i am still looking for a great retro bike.

current fave is either a nicely tricked pace r200 or a fat chance.

early gt zaskars are nice too, as are kona explosifs...

Yeah, I don't know... I just loved the kevlar lattice outlook. I guess they are going for super light and super tough. Suppose normal thin light tubing gets dinged up easily. But you are right, it is stuupid.
Thats the thing with ISPO, every year they have to have x or y amount of stupid transport ideas that never make it because the world just doesn't need another thing thats quite like a skateboard but less cool, or quite like a normal bike, but more stupid etc etc.

It's called "re-inventing the wheel", it's standard business practice in the manufacturing industry and worth billions per annum.

I've posted a pic of an mtb with the same style of tubing on here before but I can't find it. The bike was uber expensive but unfortunately it was also shit.
