FFS I know Chewie's a dude (although a pretty girly one with those ear tufts lol), he can still be hawt and a sweetie, he's a fluffy dog thing after all...

Bamba is already in a complicated love triangle with my bro and my bro's gf  :-\

I wasn't clarifying his sex; I was just making obvious his super cool status  ::)  :spank:

Now, tiny monkey time!

I particularly like how the one on the right looks like the luck dragon from Neverending Story:

They're could be distantly related... if you squint a bit.

Not your usual petting zoo, but a couple of shots from the Tiger Temple when I was in Thailand.

Stroke my tummy...

Do NOT disturb...

Sad thing was that a) most were chained up; b) they were probably doped up to pacify them.  The place does do a lot of conservation work though, and most of the tigers are ones that were found as cubs and raised in captivity  :devangel:

I've been in with full grown cheetahs, and it was pretty amazing; they weren't chained up and provided they are well fed have no inclination to bite anyone. Apparently no doping, some catnip may be involved though. Playing with lion cubs is more fun though, I stil have marks from where it "nibbled" me.

Oh Tigers!  I was just saying on Twitter how I was going to look at them on your Flickr, Slackers, great minds!

I'm always a bit worried about places like that where they are chained up and stuff, but you're right, they do probably save lots that wouldn't survive otherwise.  And I do soooo want to squeeze a properly sized cat at some point.

Did you know?
The hyoid structure of the Cheetah makes it the only
big cat that is able to purr.
I was sure lions and tigers could purr!  :-\

I can vouch that the cheetah definitely purred when I stroked it. Sounded like a scooter.

I'd have been running too, right at it.   ;D  It's a great picture.

Spiders would not be a problem on my trip, the big kitties would eat the big spiders for me.  It's NATURE, a force stronger even than SCIENCE.   8)

No giraffes are not cute.

These are though, one hour old lambs, filmed two weeks ago. The last bit of a perky 'shaun' is a week later. Look 10 seconds in at the careful use of the boot!

Ears.
I see your ears and raise you a Fennec Fox or three:

Are giraffes cute?
Technically no, but they are cool and weird and I like them, so definitely allowed.   ;D

Look 10 seconds in at the careful use of the boot!
That kind of boot use in my company would earn you one right back; squarely in the happy sack.  :spank:  I do appreciate the lamb video though; I love shouty, skippy lambs, they're the best (non-climbing related) thing about spring.
