Nice description! Pretty sure those holds are bigger than the BM2k smallest edges. P.S. Bradders fatneck can give you fishing tips if you plateau too soon, I think he's been on good form recently.

Now this is a significant repeat: Alex Megos has done the second ascent of Ramon Julian's Mejorando Imagen, suggesting a massive upgrade from 9a to 9b. (Apparently Adam Ondra is quoted as describing Mejorando Imagen as "Harder than First Round, First Minute".)

Perhaps not globally significant like some other stuff, but Tim Blake repeated Wedgie Wall!

Love the video of DC doing the first ascent. On the successful go it looks like he has magnets in his hands and the holds are big lumps of steel.

Sticky fingers...

Tim’s been doing everything in Wales extremely fast. Mostly a session, think odd thing might have taken him two regardless of styles. He’s done a fair few 8Bs recently so WW must be fairly tricky as it took him 8/9 and would appear to be his style (from my garden chair).  It’s cool DC didn’t think too much of it when he did it (5 sesh for the FA I think) and in time it’s turned out to be pretty hard.  Obviously right problem , right time for the LittleCunt. Shame he only seems to find his way out of Denbigh 4 times a year.

Mega! Glad it's seen an ascent and a very appropriate upgrade. Let's be honest, it was never 8A+!

Really cool to see a repeat, watched the FA video so many times. Does he only have the one at the gop left to do for the DC 8A+ that ain't 8A+ trio?

I "collected" Tim into my UKC partners list when I did some routes and a boulder problem with him and his dad at Back Bowden, so now his ticks appear in my latest ascents feed. I've been astonished that somebody with such matchstick arms is getting up so much hard rock. Gives me (misplaced) hope.

Ye. He did Louis Armstrong last week... Ned thought the Gop one was close to 8B+. Eyewitness reports stated they’d never seen him try so hard whilst doing the second ascent.

Here is a blast from the past. In a rare (reported) sighting Enzo Oddo did 7 boulders 8A to 8B in a day, half of them flash. This is according to a comment to a video on the fb page for Ailefroide Bouldering Check the video before it gets taken down!

Locally significant only, but looks like Tom Randall's Final Round at Dovedale got repeated a couple of days ago by adam24b on UKC. Fourth ascent I think (after Tom, Jordan Buys and Maddy Cope).

I heard Tony Stone did this also?

And 15 year old Tom Pearce made the second ascent of The Aghori in the Moors. Very impressive!

Trade route!

Sounds like Tom is on a good run of form at the mo, you'll have to point him at a few of those moors LGPs Franco.

He really is. Not sure I've ever met someone so psyched. Nothing better than seeing the next generation style up stuff you thought was hard. Cannot wait to see the LGPs start to tumble!

I’m I the only one feeling very old at Franco referring to ‘the next generation’...  😳

That's probably only the 30th best lgp in the Moors like, but it would probably suit him and he lives walking distance from there. The biggies are the left hand high crag prows!

First move static. WTF.
Plus, from the light and colours it seems 100% humidity!
