Great effort, although totally believable. His fingers are so strong! I wonder if he tried Dandelion Mind? I actually thought Dandelion was harder than Bewilderness, I just think I am in the minority here.

Incredible stuff. What an amazing bit of climbing, how cool must it feel to just be able to basically piss up something that hard (for everyone else...)?!

One for the trad climbers.

Death Arete up on Scafell got its 2nd and 3rd ascent yesterday. By Andy Mitch and Nathan(forget surname)

One of last few birkett routes needing a repeat. This one E8.

As someone interested in all the disciplines I'm finding both Will's and Andy's exploits noteworthy.
Thanks for posting guys  :icon_beerchug:

What a feature. How was the ride from the top Tim?

Ey up.

Yeah not too bad actually, its one of the fewer times iv fallen rather than jumped off from that sort of height so i didnt really have much time to think about the air time, i landed pretty perfectly too fortunately. Did make a great wooshing sound through the air on the vid

I climbed with Andy a few times in the 80s - always a different league - couple of years younger than me (55).

I heard that when Birkett went down to repeat James Pearson's Walk of Life Andy flashed it on top rope but decided not to lead it!

I held Andy’s ropes on Disillusioned Screw Machine, probably in ‘94. He cruised it on-sight, but forgot to take any wires for the upper wall.. so just ran it out.

I used to see andy mitch in the old ambleside climbing wall up at the university. Total dark horse, really laid back no ego and a superb climber.

Neither have I, it’s just something Limmy says on Twitter whenever a celebrity dies. Can’t help myself.

'Andy':
E8 crusher
''I climbed with Andy a few times in the 80s - always a different league -''
''I heard that when Birkett went down to repeat James Pearson's Walk of Life Andy flashed it on top rope but decided not to lead it!''
''Disillusioned Screw Machine, probably in ‘94. He cruised it on-sight, but forgot to take any wires for the upper wall.. so just ran it out.''
''I am always more impressed by how much beer he can consume and still onsight 7c+/8a or e7.''
''Total dark horse, really laid back no ego and a superb climber.''

Somebody should contact him about how to develop a covid-19 vaccine.
