Might as well tick Liquid Ambar while he's there.

He keeps a logbook on UKC. Refreshingly, for a wad, it isn't just a catalogue of his greatest hits but includes the warm ups as well.

His comment on Hubble is: "A cruxy one."

He’s not a social media cheese monger either like most sponsored hombres... Fairly low key. No essays of Emojis.

Pete Whittaker has flashed Christer Jansson & Erik Massih's 8b-crack “Ronny Medelsvensson” on Profilväggen in Jössingfjord. As far as I understand Ronny Medelsvensson is almost a pure jamming crack, with very few face holds and few possibilities to layback sections.

this is the one that Seb Bouin said was easier than an 8c+ he'd done recently isn't it?

In Grimper Seb Bouin is quoted as saying that Azincourt (french spelling) is clearly a bit harder https://www.grimper.com/news-azincourt-premier-8c-france-seb-bouin-ajoute-nouvelle-piece-vintage-rock-tour

The French are the only ones more obsessed by grades than the Brits. It is clearly unhealthy imho.

Another Lonely Day, Craig Matheson. Scafell East Buttress. 2nd ascent of Birkett’s E8 direct on Borderline from 2002. Dave said it was the best pitch he’s done int Lakes. Amazing line, it’ll be interesting to hear what Craig thinks. One of the few big Lakes’ lines that hadn’t seen a repeat.

Great to know that there are still folk doing proper hard trad climbing on mountain crags. Nice one Craig!

Is that the one that Birkett was adamant was the best pitch in the Lakes/UK?

 :slap:

Sorry, should have said the UK/world/universe. Can't remember exactly which route it was or what the accolade was but I'm sure it was a pretty big statement (bigger than best in the lakes).
