After having done “Pachamama” and “Mamichula”, the linkup between “Pachamama” and “Papichulo” Seb Bouin has boosted his scorecard by doing “Papichulo”, his third 9a+ this year. Source

Papichulo is the second most repeated 5.15 route after La Rambla
Code: [Select]
                           Route       Ascents
  1:                   La Rambla   9a+ 26
  2:                   Papichulo   9a+ 20
  3:      Biographie/Realization   9a+ 17
  4:                   Pachamama   9a+  8
  5:                     Catxasa   9a+  7

From his instagram, I take it that Felipe (sp? surely no accent? (I speak no Portuguese, but...)) takes 9b for El Bon Combat.

Don't think Mike Psyche got a mention for the second ascent of Megos's Louis Cut in the Cave last week? Pretty strong effort...

I know of 3 repeats plus the FA by Chris Webb Parsons (FA):

Ethan
Extremely strong (Italian, I think) chap briefly visiting from about 5 years ago - not sure of his name. Anybody remember?

And Alex Barrows?

Also, I thought Belly of the Beast went direct through the roof, without the kneebar rest?

These two sentences seem contradictory.

Belly doesn't go direct (see 52.50 here: ), though you easily could stay low and go direct via Nacho's method - I thought about this in the past but haven't been bored enough to try it yet  ;) CWP didn't use the knee, but that's dumb on top of dumb given it doesn't even require a pad to make it work - if you wanted to avoid the knee the best way would be to go direct as implied. Although there are still at least 2 knees on the intro and 1-2 on Keen if you want, so it's not like it'd be knee free without more dumb technique eliminations.

p.s. I don't think it's 8B+, I think 8B is fair, just harder than Keen...

Piotr Schab has done the fifth repeat of Fight or flight, which remains the most climbed 9b. Fight or flight is Schab's first 9b after having done 6-8 routes graded 9a+ (depending on if and how many times you can count different versions of Ali Baba)
