Ah yeah for sure! I thought by the fact he was saying it was way out of his league etc and that it would have been rainshadow or overshadow!

Certainly NOT significant at all! But thanks anyway Duncan.
Not sure I mentioned it being out of my league...?

What 100% is significant however is that Carlo Traversi just did the 2nd ascent of The Meltdown. 10 years on!

He's on a rich vein of form...no wonder he found my tufa and potato plod relatively straightforward, it would be a bit like an E1 climber doing a VDiff!

Exactly, I took his logbook comment for Maris with a fistful of salt.

Glad you got the route done, looking forward to trying it though I find Mr Potato Head hard enough at the top.

I have seen a video of David Fitzgerald at The School Room and it's beyond impressive. A couple of 8b's and Perky Pinky in a session.
Oh and Perky for Nicky Ceria as well.
If these aren't significant repeats I don't know what else is.
Dammit I need to touch those holds (feet firmly planted on the mats) sooner or later.

Wonderful!! I've been wondering "but what has he done in Pedriza" for 7 years now. This is just ace. I hope he writes / talks more about his experiences there.

I imagine.
Surely longer queues at the start than at the top though.

Perky isn't significant, loads of people have done this now, most wads do it in a few attempts. Milk It in a session is very impressive though, other ascents have taken at 10+ sessions I'd imagine.
