That is a seriously fine effort, Becky must have a great pair of shoulders! I don't know Becky but I think it's cool that she got on this where most are drawn to it's easier counter part Fragile Steps by lure of a bigger grade. Interestingly this was given 8B by Klem and then was downgraded due to someone climbing it that the guidebook author thought wasn't strong enough to climb 8B

Also I think Misti is traverse 8c Robin so that would equate to 8B/+.

Ah right. There was a video of Nalle doing it which said V15, so it looks like a lot of people get the grades mixed up. My mistake. (Sam didn't mention the grade, it was just one of his favourite problems.)

Babsi Zangerl continues to be a total badass with an ascent of Sonnie Trotter’s The Path 5.14aR, so run out 8b+?

The Path

Surely one of the world’s most inappropriately named routes.

I continue to wonder why Emma Twyford's ascent of Nightmayer in wet conditions isn't significant?

I must have missed that being added to the ‘Insignigicant Repeats’ thread!

If you think something is significant, post it up (preferably with a link).

Touché.

I was working on the assumption that lots of people here also read the other channel where it was reported a few days ago

Here's a topo for Profilveggen in Jossingfjord

https://brattelinjer.no/sector/2978

8+ = 7c/+
9- = 8a
9 = 8b
9+ = 8c

Barrows has repeated Dreadnought 8c at Cheedale Cornice, which has lain unrepeated for 19 years since Steve McClure did the FA in 1999  :weakbench: Can't think of any more routes of this grade that haven't been repeated for this long!

Aiden Roberts climbed Monkey Wedding 8C in Rocklands. Also  did several 8B+s in a few goes and a 8B flash. World class beast.

That is hardcore. Couldn't see a lot in the way of holds walking underneath that sector.

Dunno, was wondering too but not really sure how to look. This thread needs updating but doesn't have flashes/OS.

I was wondering this too, I can actually only think of Emma T flashing Statement of Youth a few years ago, possibly Shauna or Mina at 8a too? Can't think of any 8a+ onsights/flashes

Lucy Creamer has done the most 8a flashes/onsights I think but don’t think she managed a 8a+.
