The arete left of The Possessed also looks featured enough and with some massive pebbles to be climable but surely in the realms of 8b total death? I wonder how many ascents MaDMAn has had? Makes a lot of E8s look like baby E8.

as tom said on his blog, pete's lead of the prow is up there with the best on grit, inspirational watch, still buzzing now!

you're probably right, it seems like he would've done it looking at what else he did up there.

pete mentioned that he'd abbed the arete left of the possessed and his description was similar to yours tom, he didn't seem too keen!
