It's called Popular Culture Slackers ;)

Popular and Culture are two words that make poor bed-fellows.

I used to try and climb the same grade as my age (kept it up for a while but I failed once is was 27) but climbing 8a at age 8 is crazy. Bet he won't keep it up though....

May be if he goes to germany for a few years then emigrates to australia!!

From UKC:

Hamish Potokar, 14, has climbed the classic hard gritstone problem Brad Pitt (Font 7C+) at Stanage, in the Peak District. Hamish worked the line for around twenty minutes before his successful ascent.

Good work Hamish

Great effort. I climbed with his dad (spotting in the vid) a lot back in the 80s.

Pit according to their very own database. Guess checking something like that smacks too much of professionalism.

Age aside, 20 mins!!!

Great effort, but I'd say his 4th (think he tied for 3rd but denied on countback) at the BBC's in Jan was more impressive - his age cat is from 12-17!

By my records would have been Jan '08 I reckon, can't find any pics but I remember he gave it a fair go. Which I daresay is a great deal more than he recalls...

I remember going up there with you, jim and pascal and others. Think it was before 08 though. Do you remember if he tried it that time? Just trying to get his sessions up, can't have him getting a big head (as if!!)
