Really impressive feat.

Starting climbing to getting font 8B and F8c in 3 years is pretty ridiculous. Did Aidan have a background in athletic disciplines/gymnastics before this, or did he just win the gene lottery on the climbing front?

Damn, I bet he wouldn't of bothered tying in for the other routes if he'd known he was going to knock out an 8c as his 4th lead. Not got quite the same ring to it...

Dinbren made me almost want to give up climbing in the UK. Never come back from a Euro trip and then go there unless you want to spend a few weeks in abject depression!

Why isn't there more fuss about this, this is a woman that did an 8b+, and a 4 move power problem at that? I wish jens would get on the story, looking forward to some vague and ill-substantiated claims about the veracity of her ascent.

Tbh I'm surprised it's taken this long for a female ascent. At the grade I think it would be more of "a girls problem" than most. Ie gently overhanging with small positive holds. Good tick!
