John Redheads opinion on Indian Face, he hasn't changed! From twitter:
Quote
@johnredhead: after the on-sight attempts of 'Margins' I thought the future bright? No! Usual crap of pre-placed gear, blu tac, practice sponsoover-caffeinated sugary drink companyy.@johnredhead: I think DMM should be blown up for promoting its brand of consumer sport on Cloggy! Indian Face - When will climbers be free again?.

Love it, still seething 20+ years later.

I think Caff has had an authentic enough experience on that wall even for Redhead's tastes....

I think on some twitter clients when you copy a tweet it sticks the persons @thing before the content, which is probably whats happened here.

(Christ, did Slackline hack onto my logon there for a second?)

Not guilty, but you are correct.

<pedant>Although Mason is wrong to say that he's 'hash tag'ged himself since hashtags start with, well hashes i.e. #</pedant>

No you didn't point out the difference between a hashtag and someone's Twitter name (the @ being a completely different thing).

Fuck, I've been hacked!

I like JR's take on the whole climbing game but I do wish he'd use fewer exclamation marks.  Colonists Out! is rendered almost unreadable by the numbers of !!!! at the end of every sentence.  Exhausting.

what has shifted?

it was chalked up ;)

Pleased to see it all happening! Mint conditions in the Cairngorms right now, some slabs there need repeating.

Pretty amazing link-up in N.Wales! - http://news.v12outdoor.com/2013/07/15/classic-rock-snowdonia-route-list-ticked-in-a-day-epic-enchainment-completed-by-libby-peter-and-will-sim/

Only the 2nd time it's been done? And the first time each person has climbed every route?

Yeah it's a really inspiring alpine scale link-up right on our doorstep. Now's the time with every route almost guaranteed to be dry.

Cooooooool! I'm feeling psyched for that already.

On a side note, I wish someone would pull their finger out on our own (small but beefy) Brown and Whillans link in Staffordshire.
