jan hojer has a good day in ticino: http://www.ukclimbing.com/news/item.php?id=67842

Perhaps more accurately a 'significant quantity of repeats'.

And then The Dagger this morning (i.e. the next day), which he thought was 8B.

From Facebook Dave Sutcliffe has repeated Cindy Crawford at Ilkley

Does anyone know if Keenus did this back in the day, or is this the second ascent?  Looks great with chalk on anyway, I had always assumed it was a fantastical line on a topo until recently!

It's an amazing line. Crazy that it sees so little attention. Maybe it will get a rush of interest now...

I watched Steve Dunning do the second ascent.

Impressive bit of footage from before HD was a thing ;)

No doubt he did it,
But wasn't the later half cut so it was on TR?

Good effort Sutts, and nice freestyling at the top. Probably the last of JD's grit routes to be repeated, not surprised it took so long given the line.

His blog says he got close http://jamespearsonclimbing.blogspot.co.uk/2009/02/few-days-after-gerty-berwick-i-headed.html
but not sure if he went back

From Facebook Dave Sutcliffe has repeated Cindy Crawford at Ilkley

That photo does injustice to the steepness, unless the Ilkley skyline has tilted recently.

Good job.

Really good! It doesn't seem that long ago that the girls were getting write ups for doing stuff like West Side Story! Things have progressed big time.

Agreed, this feels really impressive - it can't be that long ago that a male ascent of CT was still newsworthy.

Amazing to do, even more amazing ground up. How much harder is the start for shorties? A lot I'm guessing

Lots of good stuff but Mina doing CT ground up is a stunning effort. Seriously impressed.

Top effort! Hard problems aboard and on home soil. Sweet! Keep it up..... Might I suggest Jason's Roof? She would wallop it!
