Yorkshire Grit Conditions

Thinking of heading down to yorkshire this weekend.

Anyone been on the grit recently. How wet is it? What's been getting done?

Snows reasonably thick in Leeds today. I heard it was knee deep up on Ilkley. Almscliff probably has a nice blanket as well. Wish I was up there  :(

I hope you like it cold!

Stay away from Caley, probably minging.

shite load of snow in Yeadon (up the hill from Caley) this am and it was still snowing when i left for work. don't try accessing caley via pool bank or east/west chevin roads as these have all had major problems the past couple of days.

it's cold though, so Almscliffe may be ok providing you are on non-top out problems (or you brush the snow off first  ;D)

just hope it doesn't warm up and melt off!
