I'm having some sort of problem accessing this site, its fine when doing it via an anon IP (vectroproxy) but without it I can't seem to look at anything. Its like this on all my computers. I presume it must be some sort of IP restrictions.

Who is your ISP?  Do they block or restrict any sites?  Worth contacting their tech support to see if they do?

Might be worth checking your DNS settings, do they use static DNS servers, or are they allocated dynamically by your ISP?  I have my router set up to use dynamically allocated DNS, but with some static's to fall back to.

Of course this is only relevant if you couldn't resolve the domain name (not sure if thats what you mean by "can't seem to look at anything"?

Guess if its working it doesn't matter though, but might happen again.

Basically the page would load very slowely with some errors on it then and I couldn't navigate away from the home page.
I haven't changed anything router wise and it was like this on my laptop, main computer and HTPC.
Today everything is back to normal tho, perhaps bubba has restarted the server or something and cured the problem?

Maybe your IP address has been black-listed 'cause one of your comps is infected.  Are you late on any of your bi-annual re-installs   

More seriously though it may just have been lag between you and the ISP, and somethings that were being loaded just timed out.

You can get a partial check of how well (i.e fast) data is passing between you and a remote server using 'ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx' or 'ping ukbouldering.com'

Under *NIX there is the command 'tracepath' that shows you the complete trace of the servers your data is passing through, from example....

If there's a lagging/slow node then the above hangs and the total time taken is increased.  The above shows ping'ing and tracepathing UKB (looks like ukb is currently hosted in St Louis if names are anything to go by, which they not, so its probably not!).

Got to bear in mind that the internet is still essentially a patchwork network of computers really, and whilst things often work very well, its no surprise that they sometimes fail.
