Sky Broadband SP3 Issue
November 29, 2008, 05:20:19 pm
Righteo i'm down in sunny watford while no doubt you're all out on the grit in amazing conditions crushing E10's. I've been tasked with sorting out a laptop while i'm here and whilst i'm doing ok ive hit a bit of a brick wall:

win xp sp3 so should have WPA-PSK 1 and 2 encryption options for adding a wireless network, however it doesn't and the router is standard issue from Sky BB which is wpa-1 I believe, has anyone got any idea of things I can look at to get it working?
Currently you can see the network fine but obviously when you enter the key it throws back an error message....
thanks,
Paul

obviously it was a bit daft of me to expect clicking update driver in device manager to actually do just that. The Intel site came to the rescue with a more up to date driver and now everything works perfectly.
