Dell/Vista CD drive problem
November 19, 2008, 08:20:39 pm
Just bought me an Inspiron 1525 with Vista. The fecking cd/dvd drive wont read anything and doesnt recognise anything i put in it. Autoread doesnt kick in when i put a disk in, and if i try and open anything in the my computer folder it asks me to insert disk, then i get an ejection error message   >:(.

I've tried the support website and keep getting cut off on the helpline but not got anywhere. A quick google found little also. Anyone had or heard of this problem? Should i just hit it with a hammer ?

That may be your problem.

If you bought it new, get whoever sold you it to sort it out.
