Calling Sheffield Techno heads.....

SulpHate is proud to announce our launch party will be taking place at the Redroom, a city-centre location just behind Debenhams and opposite Club Vibe, Fez and the old Nylon/Bar Matrix site.

SulpHate 001: Friday 31st October 2008 10pm - 4am
Redroom
Charter Square
Sheffield
S1 4HS

DJ REPHLEX RECORDS (Rephlex)

Grant Wilson-Claridge, aka DJ Rephlex Records, is co-owner (along with Aphex Twin) of the world famous record label Rephlex Records. Rephlex have released records from 808 State, AFX, Cylob, Universal Indicator, Squarepusher, DMX Krew, Bogdan Raczynski, Baby Ford, Dopplereffekt and many more. It's been a long, long time since DJ Rephlex performed in Sheffield, and having blown away absolutely everyone at last years Warehouse Project in Manchester, we are absolutely thrilled to have Grant perform at our opening event.

DJ DIRTY CHEESE (Dirty Cheese)

http://www.dirtycheese.co.uk

Anyone at the recent 3D Rave will be wetting their pants in anticipation of this fella. He's torn up dance floors at Headcharge, Lectro-Luv and the 3D Rave at DQ, as well as his own fortnightly event Dirty Cheese (still the best night nobody's heard of). Probably the most diverse DJ in Sheffield, DJ Dirty Cheese jumps from early 90's hardcore to disco, acid house, jungle, techno, electro and Napalm Death. Possibly.

RICH C90 (C90)

http://www.c90.org
http://www.myspace.com/c90_sheffield

Sheffield's finest purveyor of dark, dirty dubstep. No question. Rich is part of the experimental techno, dub and electronica outfit C90, who are responsible for some of the best parties around. We expect the dance floor to quake. A lot.

MATT SLOCOMBE & DAS BROOME (Sputnik / SulpHate)

Jackin' techno and funky grooves from the boys responsible for the Sputnik parties at Club Shhh. Matt and Ian are the really rather good residents of SulpHate.

AUX_OUT (What Do You Do)

Techno, electro and booty from Chester's finest.

SHIT HOT VISUALS.
Matt Bullock and Neal Coghlan will be providing some kind of visual feast to dazzle the senses, while Alex and Simon continue their quest to introduce new and unique dance moves to the good people of Sheffield.

Of course, it being Hallowe’en weekend, it would be rude not to come in fancy dress...

SulpHate runs 10pm -4am and costs just five of your English pounds. Yes, £5.00

I have also had word of Surgeon playing some sort of 'This is for you shits' kinda set here at this boozer, unless I've misunderstood.

Nice.  It'll give me a chance to swipe Surgeon's controller:  Jazzmutant Lemur (it's well Star Trek)

Groovedog.

Any chance a recording can be taken of Surgeon's set from the desk and posted in the techno thread?  I can't make it in person.
