Join us at Redpoint on Sunday October 26th for a day that promises to live up to its name.
Redpoint have teamed up with Rock On, Climb Magazine and La Sportiva to create a whole day of fun climbing and competitions.
Inclusivity is the name of the game because at A Grand Day In you don't have to be the strongest, fastest or best to win.
Yes, there are prizes for the winners of the bouldering, leading and speed climbing competitions.
Sponsored routes mean that anyone who tops out on these routes (don't worry - the grades are amenable!) will get entered into a draw for the prizes.
There will be goody bags and a chance to try out the range of La Sportiva climbing boots as well as various spot prizes too.
The evening will round off with a lecture from the legendary Andy Kirkpatrick which promises to be both hilarious and entertaining.

10am till 6pm Sponsored routes
11am till 3pm Bouldering Competition. Categories Male, Female and Under 16
3pm Speed climbing comp. One jug romp against the clock
4pm Lead climbing comp. See how far you can battle up Mirf's spectacular super-route. Or just sit back and enjoy the lobs!
6pm Climbing ends and we get ready for...
7pm Prizes followed by The Andy Kirkpatrick Lecture
Entry is £6.50 to all members. Non-members £7.50.
The event will use approx 20% of the main room so the centre will also be open as normal to anyone who isn't tempted to take part. What the hell, you can even get into the lecture for free, because we love you.
