The cliff was mint today... ace conditions.  A little windy but strangely sheltered up by DWR area. Hope Caley was good Stubbsy.. The only downside is that MrsTT is not overly impressed with me sending her home early (12) so I could go out and play  :)

You normally seem so sane tomtom. What on earth possesed you to go to a crag which is in condition 95% of the year, on a day of perfect conditions when you could have gone to any number of places which are usually out of condition?

Ah well, I've tried to go to the cliff (my favourite place of worship) several times unsuccessfully since early Dec.. so at the first decent opportunity to get out and re-connect with the grit there was only one place I was going.... Like a fesity lover, sometimes the cliff throws you off like you are the scum of the earth, but at other times welcomes you with open arms. Sunday was great, I went from problem to problem with the joy of a kid in a sweetshop, & bumped into a couple of friends I'd not seen in ages (one for 15+ years..)

Mind you  I was tempted as Stubbsy tweeted that Caley was fantastic...

Ok, i'll let you off this once  ;).
JB - Anyone who went to the Tor or Rubicon this weekend is well beyond redemption, my words would be wasted on such damned and tormented souls.

They should be rounded up and shot

that'd be too quick and relatively painless. i should think slow, manual removal of the fingernails, then 10 years of belaying Stone, then crucifixion on the pinches wall...

I saw Stone by Graves' park the other day. Shall we have a where's Stone thread?

Anyone think it'll be worth driving up from Sheffield on saturday? Forecasts all seem typically vague.

Looks like it might be prime , its freezing and clear skies at the moment not sure what the forecast is for the rest of the day though.
