HMRC used anti-terror laws to identify source of leaks/whistle-blower.

Nice abuse of power there.  :wank:

Shocking, but as per Bolt, when you enact laws such as these, when the devil's wind blows . . . .

That's funny, but it was clearly that knackered beam that he was smashing fuck out of rather than a single removed brick which made it collapse!

Cameron on drugs (2005)

Strange how the song politicians sing changes with their role/power/chances of getting (re-)elected.  :wank: :wank: :wank:

I've been asked to provide advice and information about a form of alcohol use that I've never tried

http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/463441/Experts-warn-new-Vaportini-drinking-craze-is-unsafe

think I'll just use the story about when Richard Pryor set fire to himself using a similar way of enjoying himself

On a Zoology field trip to Portugal the lecturers forgot to pack the any laboratory alcohol for the pooters, so instead we used some of the duty free Vodka I bought on the way out.  Worked quite well, certainly got a little light-headed by the end of the afternoons surveying.  :pissed:

The fact is, it’s hard to make any money in Britain, but it’s a great market if you want to get rid of bin ends or if you’ve got tanks to empty for the next harvest. You chuck it in the UK’s direction because there they’ll suck in cheap wine

I bet that percentage is way higher on this forum!

I find it difficult to believe that 93% of wine drinkers never spend over £10 on a bottle.

What, never ever?

Must be some sort of "per month/week" part of the question or something (which I can't be arsed to check out, but I'm sure that a local skilled up stat merchant and/or pedant will tell me about later)

Or perhaps "wine drinkers" is a very loose term?

I don't, have you ever walked up and down the supermarket wine isle trying to find something to match your food?
As anecdotal evidence the wife did a come dine with me for her family and matched each course to a couple of decent bottles of wine. Goats cheese to a Sancerre, main to pinot noir etc. 3 members of her family drank their own wine (blossom hill rose, they'd all got the same as it was 3 for £9) as they thought it tasted better.

Strange how people change their stance when its them who are affected.

As I understood it, he turned down legal aid...

This happens all the time, people are charged and prosecuted by the CPS and it is up to them to fight it, this is the basis of the justice system. I fear we are in danger of changing the law based on one man's case because he happens to be a public figure with the ear of the press.
