On a higher note a study (retrospective, covering population from a 45 year period and some ~2000000 individuals) suggests that cannabis-induced psychosis is actually an early marker for underlying schizophrenia as incidence of schiophrenia between those who have smoked and had a bad time and those who haven't smoked.

Can't get the original article though, despite trying several different institutional access methods  :wall:

Very sad, but for once sense has prevailed.

A young girl with a hole in her heart has been "allowed" to refuse a transplant and die with dignity.

I love the real (fat ugly twats) v Second Life (beautiful people) pictures. That article is a fine example of all that is great about tabloid journalism in this country. I feel proud.

Not only are they a bunch of xenophobic, racist arseholes, they're also fucking hypocrites...

the [BNP] party would be using the Human Rights Act to try to protect the identities of its members, despite the BNP being against the European legislation.

EDIT : Anyone interested in the list (which the BNP are franticlly trying to renege) it can be viewed from Wikileaks (amusing site from time to time) at http:///wiki/British_National_Party_membership_and_contacts_list%2C_2007-2008 (its also available as a torrent on the Piratebay).

It could be worse, Mr Slackline, DabWatch could be out for your blood.

I - as a honed and hunky rock god - am quite tempted* to get a copy of Second Life just so I can play a bloated pasty nerdy punter  8)

Yeah, dates from October, first time I'd read it though

More worrying changes on that money pit of ID cards interestingly the article states...

Quote
There will be no penalties, civil or criminal, for not applying for an ID card.

I shan't be applying for one, and I reckon its  :goodidea: if no one else does.

Eh?  You can now get arrested for being an entrepenaur in America?  Surely theres nothing wrong with selling these things, its using them that is fraudulent (or conspiratorial as the article reports)?
