i realise this may be a silghtly contradictory question, but can anyone recommend me a decent not extorsionate and reliable builder in sheffield? mainly for putting up interior stud walling, plastering, some minor masonry shit etc. hit me. preferably one that turns up when he says he will, and doesn't do that sucking-air-through-his-teeth thing whilst giving a quote.

I have a good friend who's a builder - I'll ask him if he's up for that sort of work. He contracts the plastering out but I think he can do the rest himself. Done some significant work on our place.

We have used a guy called David Jackson a few times for minor jobs and he seems pretty decent. 0114 2621814. Seems very genuine.

I don't think that he is set up for more major stuff though.

Do you know Craig Devonshire? He's a climber who does this sort of work. He's really reliable, reasonably priced and good at what he does. If you want his contact details I'll give them to you.
