Trek Session 77 Mountain Bike
October 07, 2008, 02:45:40 pm
As some of you know I bought this amazing bike only a few months ago, mainly with the intention of taking it to Switzerland to crush DH trails on my rest days. It didn't happen in the end, as I figured I should actually rest on my rest days, so I didn't take the bike. Yes, I'm a fool.

I've just put on new brake pads, but other than that it's as I bought it. I've ridden it less than 10 times which is quite frankly ridiculous. I really don't want to sell it but I need the cash to fund another trip to font and Switzerland. I paid £750 and so I'm willing to sell it for £750. I realise not many people on here will be that interested, but this is an amazing bike. I've had a lot of fun riding it when I actually made it out! I'll be putting it on ebay for a higher price but this price applies to everyone on here and anyone you may know.

I'll post up pics soon.

disclaimer; If I should win £750+ via the lottery or some other miracle occurs, I won't be selling it!

Its not like its going to cost you anything in the long run. You will still be able to sell it for same amount as you bought it for.

yes, but if you can't buy it in the first place then that's not much use is it?

Actually the banks are still chucking money at people via credit cards and loans as these are way more profitable for them than mortgages.

34.9% APR anyone?

Find Jim on here and send him a Personal Message. He'll lend you as much as you want at 0%, and he also lets you keep the last tenner as a gesture of goodwill.

sorry uncle for hijacking your thread but I have to point out 2 facts
  • sf owes me a tenner and won't pay me back. He will be getting his legs broken if he doesn't give it me next time I see him
  • its a lot to me at the moment as I'm supporting my wife and child who is on 3 months extra unpaid maternity leave

Well, therein lies the problem. I want more font trips I need more cash! I might have found a buyer already which would be a bonus. To be perfectly honest, I probably owe you this bike in hot dinners!

After that heartfelt plea, I'm certainly considering it.

There was me thinking this tenner was a longstanding joke between friends, yet all this time there's been a young family in Gorton on the brink. I'm sorry James. I truly am.

Sweet. Friend of mine sold a Rocky Mountain frame on ebay for more than he bought it, after 2 1/2 years of continous use.
