I was so impressed when I heard he was trying this line. It is simply one of the most stunning pieces of rock I've ever seen, and no doubt extremely hard to boot. I remember thinking the top half was 8a+  in it's own right.

Brilliant effort James, must have been quite a contrast to the DWS!

Sounds utterly terrifying. Impressive levels of psyche and tenacity when you consider he already took a 60 footer onto a sh*t piece and has been battling conditions all summer (not just rain, but the sea, which is clearly right at the base of the route!)

Sorry to ruin your theory Dave, but I once spent an evening with both of them and can vouch for their uprightness.  It was back in the day when I was staying up in bonny Scotland with Si O'Con.  Happy days.  Think it was then that I did my first V15.
