Climbers balm
June 17, 2008, 03:25:02 pm
Bit of a cheeky post as it's commercial

But I have developed a new hand balm for climbers. It is quite unique and really does seam to work. It is a quite complex mix of natural ingredients, the two key ones being Marigold and Comfrey which have been used for many years to help wounds heal.
there are other ingredients including St Johns Wort, which stimulates tissue repair and Myrrh which which has antiseptic effect on inflamed skin.

I'm not making any wild claims about it as some people may well not like it, but as well as possibly helping your skin it may help with inflamed joints and localised nerve pain.

Anyway I have 6 pots to give away, but I want to give them to people who climb a lot and will be willing to give me some honest feed back.
Please e-mail me at fran@sypeland.com

You can find it here http://www.sypeland.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=43&products_id=494

Bahh!
Greedy spammer.  :spam: Grumble grumble etc.  ;)
And further more; I can't believe that I have missed out on some free stuff  :wall: doh!

Have you got a plan for publishing the results of your rigorous scientific testing by 6 computer-using freeloaders?
Mhyrrhr sounds like a good idea - I used a mouth wash containing it to get rid of a very stubborn bout of mouth ulcers - but it could be seen as being a type of resin for enhancing friction. I hope it will only be used post-climbing...  ;)

Five pots matched latched and dispatched to Sheffield, strange that :-\
One pot to Cornwall, he'll probably water it down with Lemonade

Tut tut francis. To gain a good across the board response, you shoudl have sent 5 pots to different parts of the country to gain good feedback from various rocktypes - Gritstone / Dartmoor Granite / South Wales Limestone / Northumberland Sandstone / Aberdeenshire Granite

Two quid is £4.99 less than the retail price.

No problem, Jim just has to pay nothing three times. And then half of nothing. What's that? Still FUCK ALL.

Your maths is impecable!  I'll have to try the (flawed) logic out next time I'm in need of some cash...

Me : Hello Mr Bank Manager, I'd like to discuss a non-re-payable loan, call it a gift if you like.

Bank Manager : Oh reaaallly?

Me : Yes, but please hear me out first.  Now we all know that £2 is, in the grand scheme of things NOTHING.  So how about gifting me 500,000 NOTHING's, since anything multiplied by NOTHING will always be NOTHING.

Bank Manager : Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

 :)

Apologies for dragging things  :off:

Jesus - is that true? Gives me the shivers - will be like a real-life scene from the League of Gentlemen - wake up in the morning to find your underwear 'rearranged' and FH in a tweed dress and blouse cooking his own 'special' sausages in the morning.......

I think FBSF was going for a barn / balm based joke, but I can't be sure.

Just tried purchasing a pot but the site seems to want me to buy a minimum of 16. I presume a minimum order setting has been accidentally switched on, or am I just being dense... very possible.
