I have seen a job offering short term contracts in Guernsey.  How short I don't yet know.

As it would no doubt be a lovely place to spend a spring/summer I will probably apply.
My query is, as if you couldn't guess already, has anyone climbed there and is it any good?  Is there even any climbing there?  I've done a quick google investigation and all I can find are places that hire equipment for climbing.

I took this to mean there probably was rock there.  Either that or someone wasn't paying attention on their Small Business HND.

Any information will be gratefully received.

Never heard of any, not to say there isn't. Some on Jersey though, not that that's much help. Surfing looks good if you want a crack at it.

Yes, there is. Martin Crocker has put routes up there. some good friends of mine used to live on "the rock" by all accounts its also a great place to hang out. Alderney is the best surf break island, bearing in mind the world rated (second) longborder is from here, Skindog is quite literally sick...
