New eliminate on the Sheriff at Woodhouse Scar.

Cracker-Jack 7c/7c+ - Climb the Sheriff with no back wall and no diagonal crack or pocket in the face.

Does Houdini and bear down still see much attention?

I ll never forget living in Halifax and woodhouse being my quiet college lunch time retreat when all of a sudden foot and mouth happened and it became the place to be!

Question re: Jack's Arête at Woodhouse -

How strict is this line? -

Are only the flake and top allowed for the left hand?

Is the Mango/Sheriff bloc in? - I've been using it after pulling on for a heel-toe cam

The only thing that is out, is the rock pillar under the roof on the left. You can use the Sheriff bloc, I only used the flake and the top for the left hand but you can use anything. Interested how you use the toe heel cam?, I just put my right foot on and slap up the arete. Let me know how you get on.

Could the original poster clarify something for me?

Sheriffless eliminates the back wall, crack and foot block, but the arete is allowed - is this correct?

Crackerjack is the same but also eliminates the slopey pocket?

I'm confused because if the above info is correct why does Sheriffless get 7C+ and Crackerjack get 7C/7C+?  Surely it's harder without the pocket too?

Sorry for the confusion with the grades.

I have repeated both problems recently and would give the problems the following grades.

Sheriff-less 7C
Cracker Jack 7C+

They need some more repeats to confirm the grades.
