Aaron noticed it in October. He said that there was a new big flat hold at the very end of the top crux, previously it had been much smaller, something had fallen/was pulled of by persons unknown. Not knowing the route I can't say much more, but Aaron did say had it been there when he was trying it, he would have done it as it made the last hard move much easier.

Aaron noticed it in October...

After making the initial hard moves at the top - Long pull to a crap crimp and left hand into undercut slot - one used to make an awkward move up and right into a good but flared 'gaston' and then another dodgy move into a side pull directly above to finish the route. The high sidepull has disappeared, leaving a rather nice flat hold, so its now possible to miss the 'gaston' altogether and go straight for the Flatty. It's still the 'living-end', but now with one less hard move and instant relief in the form of a jug!
