Anyone know the names and grades of the Tom Newman and the Tom Peckitt problems under the roof here?  I know what they do etc, but need a bit of knowledge.

I'm taking it they will have been dry for a while - do they stay dry after/during a couple of hours rain i.e. today?

Did it not turn out to be the same problem climbed slightly differently?  :-\

i think there's one hold different between the two, so different sequences on same bit of rock. one probably feels less like you're next to the crack than the other.

No it wasn't. The big pinch and the starting ear were still damp yesterday.

The first (Tom Newman) method is called Bizarre Ride and was given 7c+/8a, the more direct (and superior, less eliminate, in my opinion) method wasn't named
but was given 8a+ at first, but has since been claimed at 8a. Tom Peckitt reported it as a new problem, but Ru said he had done it this way as an alternative method, about 6 weeks before Tom P.

Cheers.  It was raining pretty heavily by the time I sorted myself out, so I bailed.

Ended up at The Gop - like the bastard child of Crag X and Woodwell.
