Anyone know if The Embankment is dry or seeping still?

Some seepage around Hungry eyes and Sturgeon still. The routes in the middle are pretty much dry now.

Yesterday the Embankment was all dry and mos routes were seeing plenty of traffic, Max Buttress was dry apart from a couple of small wet streaks towards the left hand side.  Two tier in really good nick too, apart from very dusty holds that'll doubtless clean up with some more traffic.

Apparently, the cornice is looking fairly good too, apart from the usual green slime.

I know a couple of people who were down the Dale yesterday and they reported that alot of stuff was wet.  Embankment was suffering with wet streaks on most routes.  Max Buttress also wet in places.  Not sure about Two Tier.  Hopefully it'll all dry up by the weekend....

Embankment pretty much dry today, most of the routes seeing some action.

Max buttress a bit damp in places but nearly all the routes still climbable.

Didn't wade accross to two tier but there were teams out at the right hand end around quality control etc. Few damp looking patches around countdown etc.

Dry as a nun's chasm today. Max buttress also dry (but as dusty and spiderwebby as Andi e's underpants). Too lazy to walk round to cornice, but some old skool grippers thought it would still be damp in the main. And I hate that fucking walkout.

anybody know until what time you can get away with climbing down here at the minute? Just trying to figure out if I've got time later on.

Yeah. All the crags were very dry yesterday (tho we didn't look at the embankment), and the ground is so dry it will have just soaked up the rain like a sponge.

As of Wednesday...  Embankment, Max Wall, Two Tier all dry, seeing traffic and getting cleaner.  Ambled down to the Cornice - around Clarion Call just about dry but dirty and didn't look like anyone had been on it yet.  Steeper stuff still wet but maybe with another week or two of dry weather...

Anyone know what condition Max Wall, Two Tier are in after all this rain?

It should be ok. Maybe a bit of seepage around the start of max wall, but two tier is pretty resilliant.   On the whole it will be alright, it wont be a wasted trip....

You weren't wrong dude. Nun-like levels of dryness on the enbankment. All holds on Sturgeon were dry, even managed to haul my skinny arse up it 1st redpoint. Reasonably pscyhed!

Checking for a friend - anyone walked past here or two-tier recently and know if they're dry?

Anyone any idea how long this takes to dry? Whats the seepage situation? It says in the guidebook 'takes seepage' but how much??
Really psyched to get out on some bolts!!
Cheers,
Blakey

The Embankment in Cheedale was bone dry this week, as in not a single spot of moisture on it.

Embankment totally dry today, as was most of Max Wall and Two Tier (even that wet patch next to The Sea...)

However, quite dusty obviously, take a good brush!
