Title: Campus board and number of different exercises in a session
Post by: honroid on December 02, 2017, 11:10:45 pm
I watched this short by Ondra on the topic of campusing recently. When describing a typical session, he says that he does each exercise just once. He therefore does a big range of exercises in one session. This contradicts pretty much every article, book chapter etc. that I've ever read on putting together a campus session. Common thought is choosing 2-3 exercises and building a session around these. I know Ondra is Ondra and there are quite a few things about his training that won't particularly translate to mere mortals but does anyone else on here follow this pattern with their campus routine? Just curious...

If the video article is correct then Ondra is still training the same muscle groups irrespective of exercise with slight variation in joint positions.

Like me doing chin-ups, pull-ups, offsets, archers etc.

That being said the video only shows what Ondra wants to show you, Paxti could have him trying cock push-ups for all we know.
