Another sure sign of the conditions edging closer is the appearance of sensationalist weather forecast articles of snow-based doom and gloom...

Haven't seen a Swift/Swallow/Martin for nearly a week!!
There still the one day Tour of Lombardy where you might catch Swifty or Tony in action before the end of the season. Oops, wrong thread.  :-[

Of course we're a good way out yet, but the whole fun of this advent time of year is the countdown. The anticipation. The second guessing. The glorious crescendo.

No fool actually thinks it's time for the call, but the signs are beginning to show.

Personally I'm quite enjoying the warm weather and the extended lime season....

Once Spring is out we're all just biding our time til now, this is the lime season.  All those of you scratching at the door should put this time to good use or get back in your boxes and set the alarm for GMT.

Likewise, I've finally gotten a taste for the lime this season. It's actually pretty damn good.

Temp's been rising all day, 21 and smeggy now.

The next few days could be pretty good out of the sun, low-mid teens and a strong breeze, ideal lime temps.

2 degrees when I got out of the car at rubicon this morning. Beautiful morning but felt distinctly like I should have been somewhere else, climbing a different rock type.....

None. Took two hours to "warm up" then it was home time. I was climbing fully clothed too - something I've not done in a while - beanie and hoodie and was still frozen.

Was working Kudos Traverse anyway - amother one that's not as easy as it looks on Vimeo!

/sorry for OT
