  Top thread houdini, best thing i have seen on these forums for ages, took me back to when clubs were dark, music was stomping techno, doves were 13quid, women stripped to their bras, and you could enjoy a smoke with the boucers..arr, them were the days.......

Well, only an addict would have listened to every mix or release I've posted here.  Of course I have many times.  If others and weasle had they would understand that techno is a broad church that covers vast swathes of sonic territory.  (But I'd not force anything on anyone.  That's called Nazism.  Personally, I like Dwarves . . .)  I'm guessing his like many peoples' attitudes to it are two decades old.  Techno today is extremely sophisticated and can be as banal or profound as you would wish.  It's also the only music that is not bound by genre-defining rules - all it is bound by is the state of technology that is used to make it.  It's a fact that techno draws on all forms, and it can be whatever it wants to be; be it soft, deep and dubby to esoteric, delicate experimentalism to lush organic forms to the most unbearable fuck you could imagine plus everywhere inbetween.

If any offense has been caused it's the crass assumption that electronica lovers are fucked out of their brains on class A's and skunk and must necessarily be so to connect w/ the music.  That's too retarded for words.

Ah . . .  This is different.  It's a ferocious 6 deck tag-team battle.  It's my current running squeeze.  It could possibly be used to hit the gym, or fist fighting, perchance.
