Thinking of making a trip up to the bowderstone at some point soon what kind of condition is it in this time of year?

phone up the guys at needle sports.
i would have though that it would be majority dry with a few wet streaks on the ladder face. the back side may have a big puddle underneath it.
also, judging by the forecast it will be bloody freezing, and there is nothing worse than those crimps in the freezing weather.

Th people at Needle Sports are nice enough to tell you what it will be like at the Bowderstone... but they have been wrong on my last 2 or 3 visits. 

I want to get along there sometime this week, so would love to know if anyone has climbed there recently or is planning to.

I was up there taking the kids for a walk on Thursday and it looked glorious. There was only the bottom of the Bowderiser that was mildly moist. It is still cool so should be grand mate. Enjoy!

The weather has been ok this week, bit wet early but nice yesterday and ok-ish today.

Weather is much better today, very nice in Western Cumbria. I'd imagine bits of the Bowderstone could be damp but I don't think it would be unclimbable.

Had a brief session there on Saturday, in the pouring rain. There were various wet finishing holds and dripping wet streaks all over the ladder face, and the back face was drenched, but a few people went back once the rain had stopped later the same day, and it was apparently much drier by then.
