Not sure this one's a tag - nevertheless it's a style I'm keen on.  I like the rotating transformer look.

Can you translate that tag Soapy?

tc - been to Kunstpark Ost but don't recall seeing much there.  I mean loss of sight rather than lack of scawl.  Abgedreht.

RE:  MOLAR.  But of course.  Reminds me of a recent clever advert that played on the phenomenon of the minds' ability to recognise words just from the 1st few letters.  They flashed the starting word-fragments/letters along word after word and to your amazement you're following proceedings and checkin' the meaning in real time with almost no loss in cognitive speed.  It's amazing how the mind fills in the blanks so accurately.  Great ad - I forget what product.  A cable channel I  think.

MOLAR is a bit Magic-eye-y.  You gotta get innit.

(I think there is a manga-type thread a few pages back.)

Oh, and kids these days have been robbed.  Modern cartoon series seem to suck.  Transformers never once sucked.  Terrorhawks sucked, mind.  But we had some mega stuff, the 30 somethings.  (I had one Transformer: the plane Thrust.  Motto:  My engines' roar is my enemies' song of doom!

Badass, huh?

This has got to be one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time...

Video and description link: http://www.flightphase.com/about.html

The tiger is animated and projected from the BMW. As the car speeds up and slows down, so does the running motion of cat. Never seen anything like it in my life!

rather disquieting that houdi

reminded me of the mid eighties when as a fresh faced apprentice i worked around waterloo station. there's a rather manky passage under the tracks called leake street - connects york road back throught to lower marsh; dark, stinking of piss and despairing humanity. a lot of ex servicemen and assorted dossers lived there, cheek by jowl under cardboard shelters.

it was the walls though, the orange sodium lighting throwing up scratched numbers, hundreds of thousands of them, and messages from old lags seeking perhaps long dead (in the war?) acquaintances.

disturbing yet fascinating

I'm loving this topic - must take my camera out on my work-rounds, I see some gems now and again.

In the spirit of Readers' Wives, the UKB Urban Art thread has received this contribution "from the shithouse wall" somewhere in Patagonia.

The genius that is Banksy has been busy again, this time with some subversive 'product replacement'...

Holy shit, you would be laughing if you had picked up a copy or two for a tenner each. Hope no-one mistakenly buys the the proper CD thinking it to be worth a fortune  :wall:

Probably a sound investment given all the hype surrounding Banksy.

i'm troubled by the thought of greedily collecting 'things', yet guilty of it myself :(

urban art, by it's inevitable temporary nature at least avoids capture
