Heading to Frankenjura for a few weeks in the summer, anyone have any cheap (ish) accommodation recommendations? Camping is a last resort. Cheers.

We camp but think that there are some rooms at the same site to book here

It is a great site with excellent cakes. Close to many of the southern areas and not a chore to get further afield

They do have rooms, and wooden cabins on the campsite too. Gets very busy though.

Quieter and a bit more scenic is Gasthof Fischer at Stierberg, which is where I usually stay. They also have b&b rooms, a bunkhouse and a campsite. And the best breakfast buffet anywhere.

But if you're staying a few weeks, personally I think I'd find camspite / bunkhouse / b&b life a bit wearing & I'd look for a room or a flat on airbnb instead.

Pick somewhere close to Backerei Müller.
