I was at the Bowderstone over new year and, of course, we got round to Shark Siege (the UK climbing scene's premier conversational topic).
One of the local old lags proudly proclaimed that they were there on the day that Shark all but did it but got overexcited post-crux and wobbled himself off it.
"There's a video on YouTube and you can hear me and Chris Gore in the background saying surely he can't drop it now!"
