I've been up in the loft today searching unsuccessfully for my card, just out of interest. I remember pestering my step-dad to drive down from Leeds. Can't have been that long after it opened but I've no idea really. It will probably have been after photos started appearing in High magazine.
I think it did have a floor though.
No doubt I was wearing Calange trousers and my pride and joy Asolo La Rage boots. He was probably belaying with one of those Troll padded belts. I doubt I even topped out any of the routes.

Thanks to all the staff. Well done for maintaining the warm and friendly vibe, and remaining a top training venue too.

It'll be interesting to see if Paul has just as much energy in another 25 years
