I usually have to lie down and stretch backwards massaging the little fucker.
Horrible.

Yes but how do this help your abdominals?  ;)

36 Chambers. Conies Dale is nice - but be carefull before you are sucked in, it's graded to flatter the visitor :) unlike pretty much every other bit of peak lime :D

A bit like Anston Stones then :smart:

Still undecided whether peak lime is worth the commute from Leeds. Is it still taboo to boulder at Kilnsey??

You've got to embrace it, feel the absurdity of it all breathing down your neck. I'm reminded of a comment somewhere sometime of Dan Varian's, saying he was in some muddy cave developing a problem and a child popped his head over and asked 'what are you doing?!', and the bubble is burst

There's always Wetherby. Avoiding landing in dogshit is usually the crux.

Are you saying I won't get laughed at for rocking up with just a pad, or I will?

Thanks for reminding me, I've been meaning to go there for a while. It doesn't seem to have much hard stuff to sink my teeth into, but certainly looks worth a few visits.

You might find it all a bit vertical. Good for traversing.

Do you care? I tried Weedkiller in my underpants. No one laughed. Joble looked discombobulated though but still gave me a spot.

My vague understanding was that the bouldering on the left hand side is great but was never documented which I put down to insular locals maybe incorrectly. Obviously some of the routes start there but that's no different to the Tor.

Surely putting any chemicals in your underwear is a bad idea?

Its been 2 weeks since my last confession.. Family holiday in France. eating and drinking like Roman.

Monday – Cycling in Pyrenees (only 4th time out on a road bike)

Morning - Col du Tourmalet
Afternoon – Luz Ardiden
Evening - totally wiped out.

Tuesday – Cycling in Pyrenees

Morning – Gavarnie
Back home in time for a birthday BBQ

Weds – Generally sore all over, dehydrated with a hangover

5k run to try and loosen things up.
Felt dreadful, had a few beers, felt better.

Thursday – Still sore

Endurance session on my board.
Pull up drills

Friday –  Still sore

5k run
Pull up drills
Travel back to UK

Saturday – I don’t think my arse and the back of my legs will ever be the same again

PE circuits
Was dreading it as I thought id be well off the mark but surprisingly completed in a respectable time..

Sunday –

6k trail run

Thought I would of been way of the mark climbing fitness wise but feel surprisingly fresh. Finger almost healed, a few pounds to shift but overall not a bad place to kick on from.

Exactly how I felt at the other morning leaving the col des montets car park with pads. So While climbers set off for all/multi day adventures, walkers, runners and cyclists already out in order to finish their epics in good time and t 7am with my family asleep on bed I was skulking under a 4 move sit start in the shadow of the mont blanc massif before it got too hot.
