What macronutrient split do you follow in preparation for going climbing?

I was thinking when I'm training I will follow something like a 50/30/20 carb/protein/fat split or maybe 40/35/25 if I'm gaining weight too fast. Then in preparation for climbing I'll start a cutting phase with more like a 20/50/30 split? Also, how long would you plan the cutting phase? - I just calculated if I want to go from 12% to 7% that's 5kg I need to lose and at 1 lb per week, that's 11 weeks - seems like a long time...?
