Ahahahah that's brilliant!
You could have easily done the part in the Chianti south of Florence, maybe around Gaiole or Panzano!
Classic.
Unfortunately during "the season" it's terribly crowded by fools in full leathers and liter bikes trying to kill themselves on the road. I tend to stay well clear of them and try to ride those roads only during the week. Weekends are awful.
But then there are always the Winter months.
Whenever I read posts like "Taken the battery off, washed the bike, put her on the stands until next season" I really really grin because I know I'll be having those roads all for my pleasure for a few - cold - months!

I'll be posting pics fo' shizzle.

Quite happy to be honest.
And with the new top steering plate, smaller headlamp and all the wiring well arranged under the tank, she's become even lighter to drive.
Today I really had to force myself to drive back home at some point.
It's been great.

Not really motorbike pr0n but something to whet Nibs appetite...

This is the early stages of the new winners podium we are building for this years TT

Went back on track today with the GP0 bikes!
I'm getting better, really pleased!

There were also two other guys riding with us, one works for Ducati as a tester, and the other one works as a GP0 tester! They both ripped away the paint from my bike with every overtake! Impossible to follow them, I tried but immediately missed a turn and went straight!
Big fun though, saving money to buy some leathers!

Not being well up on these things, a member of a bike forum etc, I'll put my foot in it now and ask:

what do you define the style of your bike as; Streetfighter or Cafe Racer, or...?

It's absolutely cafe racer inspired. Of course the base is a modern bike, so I'd say a modern cafe racer.
I call her La Bianchina. The Little White One, female.

That's a beautiful bike Lore! Very evocative. I've not logged in for weeks, and when I do, this treat is top of the list. I trust you won't be wearing anyting as vulgar as knee sliders - that just wouldn't do! A good espresso though.. Watch those elbows ;-)  Great work  :2thumbsup:

Looks like McGuinness is out of the TT, broken leg at the NW200  :(
I wonder if he'll come back next year...??

Hey Dave, thanks, I'm glad you like her! I have to say that some cool ideas come from the guy who did the job. The aluminium panel under the seat is one of these, and also the front mudguard.
I have to admit, though, that I intend to buy a racing suit with knee sliders and all. I'd like to keep going on track with the GP0 bikes, and for that I need a suit, but I think that I'll be using it also on normal roads on log rides, because it's the safest equipment available.
I'll still remain Captain Slow...

Not sure but Honda are having a nightmare, McGuinness (almost certainly) out and the bike seemingly way of the pace. Its not looking like Martin will be getting his TT win this year...

NW200 is on BBC NI Bikes! at the moment (on BBCi player).

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episodes/b00kj9xh?suggid=b00kj9xh

They barely mentioned McGuiness's accident.  The final Suberbike Race 2 is just mental.  Hutchie looked like he was riding out of his skin. Well worth a watch.
