Holders / Bags for bouldering mats
February 04, 2016, 08:50:01 pm
Does such a thing exist?

I'm taking my pad on a couple of flights soon, and wanted to be able to zip it up nicely into a fitted bag.

I'm sure I've seen them somewhere but my googling skills are failing me. Is it a bag, or a holder, or a case, or a cover?
Can anyone link me?

Cheers!

Not sure, but if you're stuck we used that packing clingfilm stuff (the sort of stuff you can buy in x00m rolls off Amazon for about a fiver) and parcel tape to keep our mats together and safe when we went to Albarracin.

That's the knowledge, clingfilm two pads together and fit it on as one oversized bag.

I think a friend used to use a bike bag.

Thanks, looks like I go with Plan Clingfilm then, cheers.

I can't believe no one make a bag for them, this could be my Dragons Den moment.

I was going to get my partner to make one before we went to Spain in November as she is pretty handy with a sowing machine but we ended up taking one pad so just took it as it was

I used a patio furniture cushion bag which was OK and pretty cheap

I cut up two heavy duty rubble bags and gaffer taped them together. Worked well.

I just tied the luggage tag on the mat and chucked it in as it was.
