Nibs
I know you used to climb here and mentioned in an old post that it may be overgown, is that still the case. The missus has booked a villa in a winery near by in early september, am I best taking a mat or a bike.
Or should I just resign myself to having to drink lots of wine.

Hey beast!
I haven't been there in a while (years) but I know for sure that a "big" posse of young strong boyz is often chillin' there, throwin' moves in da woods and doing hard first ascents of problems that I put up ten years ago!
Sorry for the stupid rant, people climb in Sasso, should be ok.
Depending on how much spare time you want to invest in climbing, there's mount Amiata at a 40 minutes drive from Sasso, at a much higher altitude. Bring the mat!
Bring the bike as well.
And if you like, please give me a call and I'll give you tour of ze blocs!

Cheers I found a topo on line that has about 100problems listed. The missus saw the place advertised in a mag and when she googled it sasso bouldering was the second thing listed. So that's why she booked it. Getting both the pad and the bike out there might be a struggle as we are flying to Pisa.
I will get in touch nearer the time.
