Anyone know how quickly this place recovers after condensey weather like today? Wondering if a trip over tomorrow is worth it...

Doylo says stop hounding him! You're only gonna find some massive beta for enter the dragon and after what you're trying to do to Louis there's no way he'll be able to hold Danny back!

Any knowledge on how the crag fairs after long periods of rain, such as what we've been experiencing recently. Thinking of chancing it from Sheff. Rock looks pretty compact so unsure whether seepage will be much of a problem or whether it will suffer from run off...
Cheers.

The top groove of 22 chambers gets wet eventually but I'm pretty sure 36 and the sit are perma dry.

I've seen it condensed after temp rises like most lime.

odd conditions at Tremeirchion

"This is a very unusual phenomenon, but the most likely explanation is that the "fog dome" has been caused by a source of heat close to the ground, possibly an agricultural building or a relatively warm pool of water. As the fog has formed in the valley this heat source has forced the fog to lift away from the ground into a dome as warmer air rises; like a hot air balloon."

Just checking whether asking permission at the farm is still the done thing before visiting? I haven't got the guide so not sure what the up to date info is. Cheers!

Also presuming not as ukc/rad mentions its in a cattle field, but also wondered if this was a potential dog friendly crag. Will assume not unless someone reckons otherwise.

I asked the farmer if it was ok the first time I visited and he didn't mind climbers going up as long as we park in the right spot and close the gate. I haven't asked on subsequent visits. Perhaps it's worth asking if he's out and about but it's probably not worth knocking on the door. Can't comment on dogs.

I don't think it will have totally condensed but forecast humidity is in the high 80s and it's a little misty over this way at the moment so probably not bon con. It was also seeping a lot last weekend with only 36 dry and it's been wet this week so don't imagine that will have changed.
