Slipstones topo
May 25, 2014, 10:41:56 pm
Planning a trip to the slipstones tomorrow; does anyone have a PDF copy of the (excellent) topo which used to be hosted on Yorkshire grit, which they would be able to email to me?

I have a copy at home but wasn't intending to go to slipstones so don't have it with me, and will be having a trad day so it would be extremely useful.

Would be really grateful if someone could hook me up - please pm me  :)

Having a trad day at the Slipstones? I think the routes guides cover them better if so.

Cheers Chris.

It was a bit last minute, and I don't have the routes guide so thought we would be able to get by with the bouldering topo (it shows where most of the popular trad routes go).

As it happened, we got to the crag and my girlfriend miraculously pulled out a dog eared print out of the bouldering topo, which had apparently been stuffed down the back of her bag since the last time we were there. She had no idea of this either...!

Had a really good half day, before having to head back down south.

In an unbelievable twist of fate, I have a beautiful sunny day to myself to go climbing. Wanted to hit Slipstones, does anyone have the above mentioned PDF or am I better off just buying guidebook from Cotswolds?

Many thanks, regardless of timing!

Ended up buying guidebook, bumped into some other climbers there, thoroughly enjoyed myself.

It certainly is! I would have liked to stay a bit longer really, but my skin was getting thin after not climbing outdoors for over a year. I'm aching today big style, talk about out of shape.
